Yes, we need a sire for our the upcoming planned litter. If you know anyone, or have one yourself, please email me at musepointers@yahoo.com, or call 863-673-1688. I will need to see pictures of the dog, and will contact you about arrangements. We are trying to have a litter ready by May. Please let us know if anyone is interested.
Here are some pictures of Maggie pointing. She really is coming around, and has also turned out to be a very good house dog as well. The one thing I could use some help on, is finding a dog door. I've never messed with these things, if anyone has any tips, or knows a good one to buy, use the contact information above and get in touch with me!
Happy Holidays!!!!

More Updates on the First Litter!
Well, since the post about Dixie, looks like I've got some more good news to share with everybody. First off, "Smokie" is doing quite well at his new home in Jacksonville. The new owners have him in K9 school and are looking at enrolling him in either the agility or field competitions. Smokie was originally nicknamed "Thing 1" and his twin sister is Dixie, which we called "Thing 2". I know they are not truly twins, but they did resemble one another very closely. The even funnier thing is that the sire to both these pups is named "Smokie". He's in the pic in my mission statement post. Go figure! Glad you guys are enjoying him.
Also got an email about our last puppy to leave the Muse Pointers household, and that was the one we called "Whitey". Whitey was named "Whoopi" and the owner writes:
"Just wanted to give you an update on Whoopi. She is growing fast and is such a smart and sweet little girl. She loves to run with me and we go about twice a day for 30 minutes. She loves Jake (our 3 year old) and everyone she meets. She points at all the birds, butterflies and lizards in the yard and is a great hunter :)".
That's awesome news! Here are some old and new pics of Whoopi as well.
Lastly, I got this picture of Chip and Gizmo on Facebook a couple of weeks ago. Have not talked to the Bean family on how the dogs are doing, but if a picture is worth a thousand words, then the first word that comes to mind from the photo is GOOD!
Here is the first picture of the whole gang together with all their new names. We are glad everyone is enjoying their Muse Pointer!
We are still looking for a sire for the next litter. If you are interested, or know anybody who's interested let us know!
Maggie-May went on her first "hunting" outing last weekend. We did not find any quail, but she ran with the older dogs and actually outlasted them! She's already pointing and obeying quite well. She's adapted to inside life and the life of a hunting dog quite well. Will post some pics of her soon where she's pointing and holding. Where O' where are those pesky quail????

Where are Those Muse Pointers???
Here are some pictures of our pointer Maggie (Muse Pointers Maggie May Bennett). She's a pistol and smart as a whip. She's already pointing and doing a very good job at it. She has been a lot of fun to be around, and is a bundle of energy. For those that got a Muse Pointer, send us your photos so we can share with everyone else. We would love to see how the puppies are doing.
In other news, have had a lot of people call or email me about our next litter. We are looking at doing something in late spring to early summer of next year. I will need a sire however. I want one that has more liver and more ticks than my current sire. If you are interested in a puppy please get in touch with us, or if you are interested in stud services please contact us as well.

Latest Pics
Here are the latest pictures of the two available puppies. They got their final round of shots on Thursday of this past week. Maggie is the heaviest at 12.2 lbs. while Whitey was close at 11.9 lbs. and "Thing 2" was last but not least at 11.2 lbs. They had a very good bill of health, now all they need is a good home to go to (except Maggie, she stays here). Here are some pics of Whitey and Thing 2 from today.

Meet The Remaining Pups
We have two puppies left, so I thought I'd let you meet them and that way you get an idea of what they have to offer. We give them names just to help keep track of them. The first puppy I'll introduce you to, is the one we call "Whitey".
Whitey
Whitey
Whitey is so named due to the abscence of the large liver patches that the other dogs had. Whitey is getting more "ticked" by the day though. She has a good disposition that's rambuncious and playful when on the ground, however she melts as soon as you pick her up. She's very headstrong amongst the other puppies, and does not get pushed around. She seems to have a knack for using her nose already as she frequents our hedgerow to look for lizards and frogs constantly.
Thing 2
The next puppy is "Thing 2". We nicknamed her this because she actually had a twin brother, who we called "Thing 1". Thing 2, is a very, very sweet puppy, who has one of the cutest faces of all the puppies. She is smaller than the other dogs, and is very independant. You will often find her off by herself chasing butterflies or pawing at a stick in the yard. She is very sweet and loveable when held, and would make an excellent pet, as you can already see her eagerness to please. I know she will hunt also, as she has already been seen pointing toads and lizards in the yard!
Give us a ring or drop an email if you are interested in these adorable puppies. They are 8 weeks old today, and will be going next week to get their shots.

Only Two Left, Give us a Shout!!!
Yesterday "Thing 1", who's new name is "Smokie" (ironically the sire has the same name), after puking on his new owner, went home to Ponte Vedra Beach. I have gotten a call today confirming that he did very well, and is adapting to his new home, despite a rocky acquaintance in a convenience store parking lot.
A few hours ago, the Bean family picked up both 3-spot (now named Gizmo) and "Zorro" (who's new name has not yet been determined). These two males with distinctively different personalities will go to live with their new owners in Winter Haven.
This was after their first bath, which went surprisingly well. They did shiver a bunch though, so we had to keep them warm!
Surprisingly, none have gone to families that hunt?! Oh well, at least they are going to good homes, and to people who will love them.
We have two puppies left, both are females. We have "Whitey" and "Thing 2" (Thing 1's twin) that are left over. Please call or email if you are interested, the pups are ready for pickup and will be getting their shots next week! Give us a shout if interested!
