Update on First Litter

Just wanted to give another update on the first litter.  Looking back they were a cute little bunch!  Here they are at about four weeks old.

Smokie
Smokie has turned into a real handsome young man, and as we have found out from his owner, he's quite the athlete and he really loves the water!

He does take a large resemblance to his mother Stevie doesn't he?

Here are some quotes from his owner:

I get so many compliments about Smokie at the dog parks so I will tell all my neighbors and dog park friends that the litter is here... They are soooo cute!!! Smokie looks just like his mom...

He loves being outside!!! He just has a great temperament. He's ok with other dogs but likes to do his own thing. At the dog park, he just runs and chases squirrels or dragonflies.

Dixie
Dixie has grown into a fine young lady herself.  She was one of the last one's taken, but she has made a profound impact on her owner as can be seen from these posts on Southern Airboat.

Here are some quotes from her owner:

Got our GSP from Duece in 2011...without a doubt one of our favorite family dogs ever.

(Duece is my username on Southern Airboat in case you were wondering)

I'll tell ya, Dixie's a family member. We live on 10 acres and my day starts & ends with her & I walking wooded trails.

Best breed of dog we've ever had.

As you can see she loves the outdoors!

Whoopi
Whoopi was the last dog taken of the bunch, but has really impressed me in the letters I've received from her owner.  She has now mastered 14 commands as shown in the quotes below:

Whoopi is doing great. She has been attending training and is doing a great job with 14 commands. She loves to run, go out on the boat and play fetch.

Whoopi now know heel, sit, stay, stop, down, come, wait, off, leave it,back up, get, drop it, find and take a break.

Chip and Gizmo
Chip and Gizmo are brothers that live under the same roof.  These guys are brothers to the end living under the motto, "Brothers don't shake hands, brothers gotta hug!"

Heck, those fellas even get their very own couch!  Can you say spoiled!  Here are some pictures of when they were getting picked out and picked up.

Maggie-May
Maggie is the puppy we chose to keep, and is our first inside hunting dog.  She is also the only dog from the first litter that is a hunter, and boy what a hunter she is.  She loves to go hunting and does nothing buy whine and cry when it's not her turn to be out of the dog box.  Look for some action shots of Maggie coming soon.  Until then, here's some photos of her being an excellent pet.

Our newest litter has turned 2 weeks old, and are starting to walk, and their eyes have opened.  Without a doubt the upcoming weeks will be full of activity as the pups gain their personalities.  Keep checking back here for updates on the puppies.

It's Official, Muse Pointers Has its Second Litter!

Well, Stevie, gave birth to our second litter this past Friday and Saturday.  The poor thing was in labor from 4:30 on Friday afternoon to 6 A.M. on Saturday morning.  We have 4 males and 3 females, for a grand total of 7 puppies in this second litter.

The puppies have a different sire than before, and are more ticked and have significantly more spots than the last batch.  Take a look at the pictures for yourself!  Pricing information to come soon.

Tuckered out mamma!
